It was the day before Halloween when Angel and Manny got married. They had an intimate Halloween Wedding in Savannah, Georgia.
Manny and Angel are both such happy people and are madly in love. They are obsessed with their two dogs, who made a hint of an appearance on their wedding day. As part of Angel’s bridal details, she brought two magnets that looked exactly like their pups! It was unbelievable how realistic they looked!
The vibe for this wedding day was historic, moody, and with a touch of spookiness. Angel wore a black wedding dress instead of wearing a white gown. Her dress had a hint of sparkle with a corset in the back and long sheer sleeves. She completed her look with a burgundy floral crown and a black veil. The pins she included on her bouquet was passed down from her family.
Their wedding ceremony was at Bonaventure Cemetery. They chose this location because of the view from their ceremony spot and the cemetery’s history. This cemetery was first a private commercial enterprise and has been here since 1846. Years later, the city of Savannah purchased it. The movie “Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil” had several scenes filmed inside the cemetery.
Savannah Wedding in the Fall
It was Halloween weekend, so Savannah was brimming with people all over the city. Through the madness of it all, I was able to find a spot in Reynolds Square to get some magical portraits of the two of them. As a Savannah wedding photographer, my main goal is to give my couples an excellent wedding experience. I photographed their engagement photos, assisted with finding amazing Savannah wedding vendors, and kept everything running smoothly during their wedding day. At the last minute, Angel thought she was losing one of her vendors, so I helped her find replacements just in case!
They enjoyed their wedding reception at the Olde Pink House, which is a perfect location for a wedding reception in Savannah. Their close friends and family joined them for dinner to celebrate the new Mr and Mrs! Speaking of the Olde Pink House, did you realize it may be haunted?
Savannah is known to be a haunted city, and I loved being able to photograph this fun, spooky wedding! Check out some of my favorites from this Halloween wedding in Savannah!
