On a sunny afternoon in late April, Tess and Bobby had a Spring Wedding at The Westin Hilton Head Island. The day was the perfect sunglasses kind of day!
Their love story started in the parking deck of their condominium complex where they both lived, and as Tess had just ended a double shift, he mentioned her brewing equipment, and she totally blew him off. After taking her dog Juju on a walk, she admired the 3rd-floor garden balcony and dreamed of having a garden like that one day. She figured out the unit number for that condo and noticed his car, and thought no way he was single. A few months later, mutual friends in the building set them up on a date, and the rest is history.
Hilton Head Wedding Venue
A wedding at The Westin Hilton Head Island is an inviting space for any couple desiring their ceremony to be by the Atlantic ocean. This Hilton Head Island Wedding Venue offers several breathtaking indoor and outdoor options. Their most popular areas on the property can accommodate up to 180 guests.
Tess was stunning in her Ann Barge Confetti dress, an A-line sweetheart dress embellished with allover 3D leaf embroidery. Bobby sported a navy blue suit with a eucalyptus-colored tie.
Tess and Bobby shared an intimate first look with just the two of them, their planner, and myself. I was honored to have gotten the opportunity to capture this special moment between them.
Outdoor Ceremony at The Westin HHI
They held their wedding ceremony at The Oceanfront Deck at The Westin Hilton Head Island resort. This space offers a panoramic view of the resort courtyard and the Atlantic Ocean. At their semi-Jewish ceremony, they wrapped themselves with a tallit, a prayer shawl, and broke glass as a traditional marriage celebration.
We caught the golden hour sunlight with perfect timing as we wandered onto the beach for pictures of them, their families, and their dog.
Tess and Bobby had their reception at The Grand Ocean Terrace at the Westin Hilton Head Island. This location was the perfect place to keep celebrating after their ceremony. This chic venue offers an unobstructed view of the ocean with coastal decor. Tess and Bobby enhanced their reception space by continuing the gorgeous seaside colors. After the formal traditions of their reception, they also gathered in a circle and had the Hora and Mezinke dances.
They ended their day with a private dance between just the two of them while their guests got ready for a bubble exit. As guests blew bubbles, the newlyweds exited the wedding venue. It was an honor to celebrate Bobby and Tess and capture their love story. Here’s some of my favorites from their wedding at The Westin Hilton Head Island!
