In April, Barbara and Nate said their “I do’s” at the Sonesta Resort Hilton Head Wedding on a beautiful sunny day. An intimate beach wedding was what they wanted, and that’s exactly what they got!

Barbara and Nate met three years ago as neighbors in an old apartment complex. Fast forward, and here they are celebrating the biggest day of their lives! They are a fun, outgoing couple that enjoy the beach, traveling, and spoiling their dogs.

The Sonesta Resort Hilton Head is the perfect setting for a beach-themed wedding as a seaside resort. This location is surrounded by beautiful ocean views at both outdoor ceremony locations. The Oceanfront Beach Pavillion was the perfect backdrop for Barbara and Nate’s ceremony and reception. This venue appealed to them both for its beauty and amenities and for the fact that dogs were allowed on the property and allowed in their ceremony and convenient access to a private beach. At the Oceanfront Beach Pavilion, you can host up to 450 guests for ceremonies and 600 people for receptions.

Barbara looked beautiful in an A-line gown adorned with lace on the bodice and cap sleeves. A stunning pair of rhinestone-encrusted Betsey Johnson bridal shoes topped the bride’s ensemble. Nate wore a navy blue suit with a crisp white shirt and tie.

With the palm trees and water in the background, they said their vows in front of close family and friends. Their dogs were a special part of the day and even walked down the aisle. They remained up with the wedding party and were considered “Dogs of Honor.”

After the ceremony, we switched to party mode to celebrate the union of Barbara and Nate. They had a unique guest book of double pine trees at the reception so that their guests could write well wishes to them. The elegant design was personalized with their names and wedding date. Their beach-themed wedding cake included custom dog depictions of their two furry friends. The reception was beautiful, and we ended the day capturing Barbara and Nate on the beach at golden hour.

I’m thrilled that I was a part of Barbara and Nate’s Sonesta Resort Hilton Head Wedding. Helping with their timeline and finding better locations than the usual spots at the hotel was a joy for me.
