From their initial encounter while working at Vineyard Vines on Long Island to Vin’s heartfelt proposal in the heart of Savannah, their love has blossomed through distance and time, peaking in a breathtaking Charles Morris Center wedding in February, a dreamy Savannah wedding venue.
Kat and Vin’s connection is truly special. After meeting in 2017 and navigating a long-distance relationship while Kat attended school in South Carolina and Vin in New Jersey, their bond deepened with each passing moment. Their shared passions for traveling, exploring new coffee shops and breweries, and soaking up the sun on the beach reflect the adventurous spirit that connects them.
The Charles Morris Center wedding venue was a natural choice for Kat and Vin. Its elegant brick façade, modern amenities, and breathtaking view of the river perfectly matched their vision for a timeless yet contemporary celebration. With its versatile indoor and outdoor spaces, it provided the perfect setting for their romantic ceremony and lively reception.
The first look between Kat and Vin was a moment of pure magic. As they exchanged heartfelt letters, the air was filled with laughter and tears, setting the tone for a day filled with love and emotion. Their eyes met for the first time amidst the historic charm of Savannah. It was this moment that will forever hold a special place in their hearts.
Their Charles Morris Center wedding ceremony was held outside against the venue’s beautiful brick and windows. Two lovely floral arrangements sat on wooden pedestals, giving the space an added touch of elegance. They had one person stand with them, keeping their wedding party small and intimate, which I found sweet.
One of the highlights of the reception was Kat’s dad serenading guests with bagpipe melodies as Irish music filled the air. All of their family and friends definitely knew how to have a good time, and never left the dance floor. It was the best celebration ever for these two newlyweds!

My husband and I needed someone who would make us feel comfortable and relaxed infront of the camera and Ashta does just that. With our wedding being in downtown Savannah we had really wanted to take pictures down by the river and Ashta made sure that happened for us! She kept us on track the whole day and was just super fun to have part of our day! Before we move from Savannah we would love to have photos taken with our dog and I would without a doubt book with Ashta again!”
