Jessica and Alley’s wedding at Beaufort Inn was a beautiful celebration of love set in one of the most charming wedding venues Beaufort SC. Combining classic black and white decor with modern touches, the stunning outdoor setting of the Tabby Garden and the heartfelt moments shared with family and friends made their wedding day unforgettable. I am delighted to have been a part of their special day and to have captured the start of their beautiful journey as a married couple. This timeless and elegant affair captured the essence of late summer.
Jessica and Alley’s love story began at work, where they first became friends and started dating a few months later. They describe their relationship as a “slow burn,” having grown through many life stages together. Their deep bond is evident in how they continue to fall more in love each day.
The couple chose the Beaufort Inn for their wedding venue for several reasons. The pink main house, originally built in 1897, drew them in with its stunning backdrop for their wedding. The outdoor feel of the Tabby Garden, with its tented area and cafe lights, along with the charming town of Beaufort, sealed the deal. The Tabby Garden, surrounded by seasonal greenery and sweeping Spanish moss, provided the perfect setting for their ceremony and reception.
The day began with Jessica getting ready in the bridal suite, donning adorable pink block heels to complement her stunning wedding gown. She had a bridal party reveal, showcasing her elegant look and lovely bouquet of white roses, baby’s breath, calla lilies, and greenery. Meanwhile, Alley had a unique bridal reveal with her bridesmaids, dressed in a chic pantsuit, adding a modern twist to the traditional wedding attire.
Under the lush green arbor of the Tabby Garden, Jessica and Alley exchanged vows in a beautiful, sunny September ceremony. Each guest found a personalized hand fan on their seat, a thoughtful touch thanking them for celebrating the day.
Following the ceremony, guests moved to the tented reception area. The setup featured round tables, one long table with white linens, blush pink napkins, and greenery with candles down the center. The heart-drop guest book, where guests signed and dropped hearts into a frame with the couple’s last name, was a unique detail. A special table with pictures of loved ones forever in their hearts added a poignant touch to the reception.
The reception was a lively celebration. At the center was a black-and-white dance floor surrounded by tables. Guests danced the night away with glowsticks, creating a vibrant and fun atmosphere. Jessica and Alley snuck away for golden hour photos around the grounds of the Beaufort Inn. We made our way down the brick walkway to the water, timing it perfectly for sunset shots that captured a picturesque setting.
As the night ended, guests lined the brick sidewalk for a sparkler exit, sending Jessica and Alley off in a dazzling display of love. It was the perfect end to a perfect day for their wedding at Beaufort Inn. The whole day was a true reflection of their chic, elegant, and timeless wedding vision.
