Beach Elopement Hilton Head | Jake + Nina
What a breathtaking day for Nina and Jake’s stunning Hilton Head elopement! Their love story is one filled with support and perseverance, having transitioned from friends to partners while navigating long distances and life’s challenges together since 2015.
A soft, golden sunlight cascaded over the beach, creating a classic and beachy backdrop for their Palmetto Dunes Wedding. Nina looked absolutely radiant in her elegant wedding dress, with Jake complimenting her in a crisp white shirt and khaki pants, setting the tone for their intimate ceremony. The couple embraced the natural, neutral color palette with lovely white calla lilies and greenery, which gave a simple yet elegant choice.
As they walked down the aisle together, the gentle sound of the ocean waves provided the perfect soundtrack for this heartfelt moment. Surrounding them were only a handful of their closest family members, and to make them feel special, Nina and Jake had them read meaningful Bible verses during the ceremony.
Nina’s bouquet was unique, featuring charms with photos of their parents. It was a heartfelt tribute, showcasing how important family is to Nina and Jake. And, of course, their adorable pup dressed in a flower collar was a delightful part of the ceremony, even making an appearance on their cake—so cute!
The couple exchanged vows by stunning boho-inspired vases filled with pampas grass, creating an altar that perfectly matched the beachy vibe. The ceremony was all about love and connection, and you could truly feel the joy in the air.
Once the “I do’s” were said, we took advantage of the stunning beach setting for unforgettable photos. With the soft sand underfoot and the beautiful water glistening behind them, Nina and Jake’s love shone brighter than ever. It was incredible to capture their joy as they celebrated their love with the ocean as their backdrop.
Even though it was a small elopement, Nina and Jake still wanted to celebrate with their family. They had a lovely invitation sent out to their loved ones, which I was thrilled to include in the detail shots—showing that even elopements can carry the spirit of celebration.
After the beach ceremony, they returned to a cozy private residence for a small reception. The wedding cake was a delightful treat, complete with a cute dog figurine that mirrored their beloved pet’s presence. They engraved the cake-cutting knife with their names and wedding date, which will be a forever keepsake for them.
Capturing Nina and Jake’s wedding was a dream. I’m grateful to have been part of their Palmetto Dunes Wedding to document their love story as they embark on this new chapter together.
