Marina & Andrew’s Beach House Hilton Head wedding was unforgettable — filled with love, family, and the perfect blend of beachy elegance. From the moment I met them, I could tell their day would be extraordinary. I had so much joy to be part of their wedding day.
Their story began back in 2020 when they met at a mutual friend’s birthday party, right before the pandemic. Fast forward a few years, and they’ve created a beautiful family with their two boys, Callum and James, who played such a sweet role in their big day. Andrew’s Easter egg proposal, with help from Callum, was a unique and personal moment.
The Beach House Hilton Head was the perfect backdrop for their beachfront ceremony and reception. I absolutely love the recent renovations to the new pavilion. It’s easy to see why Hilton Head holds a special place in their hearts, as it’s been their annual family vacation spot for years. Now, they’ve created a new tradition — not only celebrating their marriage there but returning each year to revisit the place where they said, “I do.”
The day started with Marina getting ready with her bridesmaids. They all wore the cutest blue silky PJs that perfectly matched the beachy vibe. The bridesmaids wore stunning sky-blue dresses, all in different styles but in the same soft shade, which tied together beautifully with the tropical bouquets they carried. Marina was glowing, surrounded by the palm trees in the background and the excitement of her friends and family. The tropical theme flowed seamlessly through the day, starting with the natural beauty of Hilton Head and enhanced by thoughtful details, like the tropical greenery decorating the wooden altar at their ceremony.
Andrew and his groomsmen kept things classic and cool in light-colored suits with matching blue ties that perfectly complemented the bridesmaids’ dresses. Their two boys, Callum and James, were adorable as the ring bearers, melting everyone’s hearts as they made their way down the aisle.
The ceremony was intimate and emotional, set against the backdrop of the ocean with soft white drapery and lush tropical greenery framing the altar. It was a picture-perfect moment as Marina and Andrew exchanged vows. Their love for each other and their family was evident, and I loved capturing every second of it.
One of the personal touches at Marina & Andrew’s wedding was their Polaroid guest book. Guests snapped a photo of themselves with the Polaroid camera, pasted it into the book, and added their names along with an optional heartfelt message. It was a fun way to get everyone involved, and the couple now has a one-of-a-kind keepsake full of memories they can hold onto forever!
After the ceremony, the space transformed into the reception area. Round tables dressed in clean white linens and tropical florals that perfectly balanced the beachy, low-country feel of Hilton Head. One of the most personal touches was Marina’s hand-painted oyster shells, which she crafted as place cards for their guests.
The new pavilion at the Beach House HHI was the ideal space for their reception — open-air, covered, and offering stunning ocean views. I appreciate the venue keeping the environment in mind by setting up the lighting to avoid disturbing the nesting sea turtles. As a Hilton Head wedding photographer, this venue perfectly blends natural beauty and thoughtful design.
After some touching toasts and their first dance, we snuck away for sunset portraits on the beach, and wow — the golden hour light was absolutely magical. Marina and Andrew looked radiant against the soft glow of the setting sun. These photos were some of my favorites from the day. There’s just something about that warm, golden light that makes everything feel extra romantic.
Once we returned, it was time for cake cutting and a few more heartfelt speeches before everyone hit the dance floor. The energy was incredible, and their guests clearly came to celebrate! The night ended with a fun and unique bubble send-off and a sweet farewell as they exited, surrounded by their closest family and friends.
Marina & Andrew, capturing your The Beach House Hilton Head Wedding was an absolute pleasure. Every detail, from the hand-painted oyster shells to the fun on the dance floor, made your day so incredibly special. I’m so excited for all the memories you’ll continue to make here in Hilton Head each year. Enjoy scrolling through some of my favorite moments from your beautiful day!
