Capturing Jarod and Jamie’s engagement photos in Hilton Head was a joy! These two brought the perfect blend of playful energy and sweet connection to their session. Hilton Head, with its timeless oaks and luminous shoreline, gave us everything we could’ve asked for and more.
We started their session at the beautiful Six Oaks in Sea Pines, a spot made for capturing dreamy engagement photos. With his carefree, lighthearted vibe, Jarod kept us all laughing as we wandered under the shade of the live oaks. Jamie, ever the thoughtful planner with an eye for style, had a clear vision for what she wanted, oak trees and water. The sunlight filtering through the Spanish moss gave the whole scene a golden glow that felt straight out of a storybook.
These two chose two casual, comfortable outfits that fit the setting perfectly, relaxed, cute, and totally save-the-date worthy. Whether they were walking hand in hand beneath the trees or sharing a quiet moment, every part of their session felt genuine.
After soaking up the trails, we went to the Sea Pines Beach Club just in time for one of the most stunning early winter sunsets I’ve seen. The sky turned soft and pink as the sun dipped low over the horizon. Just when we thought it couldn’t get any better, the moon rose gently in the background. The moon peeked into the frame during those final quiet moments, adding a little magic touch to close the session.
A standout moment from the session was the champagne pop. Jarod and Jamie brought a bottle to celebrate, and the spray of the cork, the laughter, and the sparkle of the setting sun made for some of the cutest, most fun shots of the day. It was such a perfect little touch that added personality and spontaneity, exactly the kind of moments I love.
Though their three fur babies couldn’t join us, Jarod and Jamie brought all the heart and charm to this shoot. Jarod and Jamie are one of those couples you instantly connect with, and their engagement session overflowed with joy.
