Katy and Andre had their wedding at Omni Hilton Head Oceanfront Resort on a warm October day. Their special day was filled with love of family and friends and a boho vibe. Katy and Andre are energetic and loving and shared that affection throughout their intimate wedding at Hilton Head’s premier oceanfront venue.
Buoy Bar Sail Deck is in the heart of the tropical poolscape with ocean views. Their boho, rustic outdoor ceremony was a luxurious celebration for all to enjoy. Their kids served as their bridal party. All of their kids are adorable, and they helped make the day extra fun. They had a unity ceremony, where the two of them and their children mixed different colors of sand. After they said their vows, Andre grabbed a broom, so they could jump over it to seal their union. As Katy and Andre shared their first kiss, the kids’ reactions were hysterical.
After taking some beautiful portraits on the beach, we headed into the reception space. The reception was held at the Palmetto Deck and Lawn. This unique space offers comfortable seating with an adjacent covered deck. Omni Hilton Head Oceanfront Resort offers five different locations for you to choose from when hosting your wedding. This Hilton Head wedding venue has something for everyone. If you have guests coming from out of town, then this might be the perfect venue for you. Not only can you have your wedding here, but all of your guests can stay here as well! If your guests are staying here, they can stay and party all night long with you. How amazing would that be?!
The reception was decorated beautifully in Katy’s favorite colors of blush and neutral tones. It was a great combination of rustic and boho. The seating chart was made out of mirrors of different sizes, which was unique. Katy surprised Andre with a special groom’s cake that was decorated with all of his interests. Under cafe lights and surrounded by palm trees, they had gorgeous al fresco dining. There was one long table for all of their guests, with a sweetheart table at the head of the table. Instead of using flowers to decorate the tables, they used pampas grass for the centerpieces.
After Andre and Katy had their grand entrance, they went right into their first dance. I recommended that they do this to get it out of the way and then savor the evening! Their guests enjoyed a yummy dinner catered by Omni Hilton Head Oceanfront Resort. They celebrated the wedding of Katy and Andre by dancing the night away. As the evening was coming to an end, their guests lined up for their exit. Instead of doing a sparkler exit, they decided to do a pampas grass exit. It was such an incredible moment, and it carried through with their wedding vibe!
It was great working with amazing Hilton Head wedding vendors for this wedding. We all worked together to make the whole day run smoothly. Congratulations, Andre and Katy!
