Bailey and Jacob’s Beaufort Inn Wedding in the charming coastal city of Beaufort, South Carolina, was a timeless and simply unforgettable day.
The story of Bailey and Jacob’s love began in the most unforeseen ways. They met at a bar in Savannah, with Jacob just slightly too nervous to introduce himself. Luckily, fate intervened as a mutual friend stepped in, and sparks flew instantly. Bailey reminisced, “Everything felt so easy when we were together.” Their love blossomed just before the pandemic hit, making their date nights more special as they dreamed of a future together.
Beaufort Inn – Tabby Garden, located in the heart of Beaufort, captured Bailey and Jacob’s hearts from the very beginning. They had visited the Inn before their engagement and instantly fell in love with its charm. Witnessing a wedding at the Inn during one of their visits sealed the deal. They wanted their family and guests to be close throughout the weekend celebration, and the idea of revisiting this venue in the future was irresistible. An outdoor venue with a two-in-one event space, this is the ideal setting for a classic Lowcountry event. Nestled within the stunning outdoor landscape lies a garden courtyard embraced by ever-changing foliage and Spanish moss, providing space for gatherings of up to 300 individuals.
My most memorable moment of the day was seeing all the boys, including Jacob, shed tears of joy during the ceremony. It was a testament to the deep emotions and love surrounding Bailey and Jacob on their special day. Let’s say there were plenty of tears and cheers to go around!
I always appreciate venues that offer a variety of backdrops for photos, and the Beaufort Inn did not disappoint. Its proximity to downtown Beaufort allowed us to explore different locations to capture the essence of Bailey and Jacob’s love story.
Once the party came to an end, the night ended on such a high note. Jacob and Bailey’s loved ones all surrounded them in a circle, as everyone danced to one last song. I may have found a new favorite photo to take on a wedding day – behind the dj booth. As everyone stood in front of the DJ, singing and dancing with the couple in the center, it turned out to be such a fun photo idea!
Bailey and Jacob found me through their excellent wedding planner, Tracey, from the Beaufort Inn. It was a pleasure working alongside her, as well as helping them find the perfect cake vendor and creating a seamless timeline for their day.

She was quick to get us sneak peek photos, and we loved them all. We loved her style, and it was the perfect mix of candid and portrait photos.”
Bailey and Jacob’s Beaufort Inn Wedding was a true reflection of their love and the joy they bring to everyone around them. I feel privileged to have been a part of their special day and witnessed the start of their beautiful journey as a married couple.
